Great drumming and music in general is about listening/hearing evrything around you!!! When I am playing, 98% of what I am doing is listening and the other 2% is playing then responding accordingly or rest!!!

It all has to feel natural!!! If I’m thanking while I’m playing, I’m already screwed.
